West Indies Named Strong Squad for Nepal Tour as they are set for a historic visit to Nepal for the first time.

The 15-person West Indies Men’s A Team roster has been revealed by the Cricket West Indies (CWI) Men’s Selection Panel. The team will tour Nepal from April 25 to May 15, 2024.

The West Indies Men’s A Team will play the Nepal Senior Men’s Team in a five-match Twenty20 series, with Alick Athanaze serving as vice-captain and the seasoned Roston Chase as captain. This tour is very important since it is another step in the process of getting ready for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in 2024. Since this is the first-ever visit to Nepal by West Indies, the series also represents a historic milestone.

At this stage, Roston Chase will assume leadership responsibilities for the first time. Dr. The Most Honorable Desmond Haynes, CWI’s Lead Selector, noted that Chase’s nomination as Captain was a result of his continuous demonstration of leadership abilities and diligence.
