Nepal revealed their official jersey featuring Mt. Everest and Rhino

The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) announced their official jersey for the upcoming T20 Cricket World Cup 2024. Designed by Kelme, the jersey is similar to current jersey with slight modification.

The Nepalis have released a similar kit to the one worn in previous years, though have moved to a yellow text alongside trims on either side of the shirt.

The new jersey has a color scheme of red, light gray, and white with images of Mount Everest and rhinos at the bottom. The word “Nepal” is highlighted in blue in the center and stands out clearly in yellow. The T20 World Cup logo is placed on the right side, while the CAN emblem is on the left. The Nepalese flag is prominently displayed on both sleeves, and a crimson collar frames the neckline.

The player’s name is displayed above the jersey number on the mostly blue back, while a picture of Mount Everest is displayed at the bottom.

Second Appearance

Nepal will be playing their second T20 Cricket World Cup back in 2014 where they grabbed two wins out of three matches. However, failed to qualify for the super sixes after falling just behind Bangladesh on net runrate.

Nepal defeated Afghanistan and Hong Kong in the course.

After 10 years, team Nepal is back in the global event and are drawn in Group D along side South Africa, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Netherlands.

Nepal will play their first match against Netherlands on 4th June.
