Nepal defeated Houston Hurricanes again with 27 runs

Defeating Houston Hurricanes on their home ground on Friday, Nepal sucessed to naming another 27-run victory against Houston Hurricanes again on Sunday morning.

Just like the previous game Nepal opted to bat first and took the lead by setting a target of 124 runs.

Captain Rohit Kumar Paudel led the charge for Nepal, scoring the highest with a fantastic 41 runs, while Kushal Bhurtel contributed with a solid 23 runs.

Unfortunately, Gulshan Jha was only able to score 14 runs, Aasif Sheikh got just 1, and Anil Kumar Shah managed 4.

Kushal Malla had a bit of a tough time, only managing to score 2 runs. However, Sandeep Jora and Sompal Kami held their ground and remained not out, scoring a respectable 12 runs each.

The batting line of Nepal was quite disappointing with a number of players departing with single-digit runs.

Fortunately, the Hurricanes couldn’t keep up and were bowled out for just 96 runs in 18.3 overs, resulting in Nepal’s win by 27 runs.

When it came to defending the 124-run target, Karan KC stood out as the star bowler for Nepal, taking three wickets while only conceding 10 runs.

Sompal Kami also had a great performance, claiming two wickets, while Rohit Kumar Paudel, Avinash Bohora, and Sagar Dhakal each took one wicket, contributing to Nepal bowling out the Hurricanes with ease.

Overall, Nepal posted a total of 123 runs for 6 wickets in the full 20 overs but Hurricanes were just able to score 96 runs on 18.3 overs before they lost all of their wickets. Nepal claimed second win over Houston Hurricanes with 27 runs.
