Nassau Cricket Stadium almost ready for the World Cup 2024

The Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York is nearing completion, less than a month before the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 kicks off.

The most recent timelapse video of the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York shows the venue practically ready for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024.

The four drop-in pitches farmed with natural Tahoma 31 Bermuda grass have now been planted on the ground, and the north and south premium hospitality and media pavilion constructions are nearing completion.

Additional seats for all stadium matches, including the India-Pakistan encounter, will be available through hospitality tickets, which include food and refreshments.

The Nassau County International Cricket Stadium will host its debut match on June 3rd, when Sri Lanka takes on South Africa in their Group D opener. The 34,000-capacity stadium will also host the highly anticipated encounter between archrivals India and Pakistan on June 9.

Meanwhile, excitement for the T20 World Cup continues to rise, spurred by the release of the official anthem, ‘Out of this World,’ performed by Grammy award-winning musician Sean Paul and Soca superstar Kes, who are getting fans in the mood for the competition.
